We follow the standard Hertfordshire County Council admissions process (excluding Nursery). Applications should be submitted through the Hertfordshire Schools Admissions portal.

Key Admission Dates

Reception Applications

For children who are born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023.

• 2 November 2026: Applications open for September 2027 placements.

• 15 January 2027: Deadline for on-time applications.

• 1 February 2027: Last date to submit late explanations or address changes to be considered on-time.

• 16 April 2027: National allocation day (offers are released).

• 23 April 2027: Deadline to accept or decline your school offer.

Please note: having a nursery place is no guarantee of a main school place. There is a separate application procedure for Reception class.

In-Year Admissions

In-year admissions will be managed by the Herts Admissions Team. To see if places are available at our school for this current school year, see here.

What Happens Next?

Once you have applied:

• You will receive confirmation of your application from Herts County Council.
• We may invite you to an informal meeting
• Offers will be communicated once we have received notification that the place has been allocated.

Successful applicants will receive a welcome email and online admissions form with transition information once the parent/guardian has accepted the placement.
